Is that all you can come up with? You're a bark and no bite." "Excuse me? That day is everyday," Mallow said, "and your events aren't important." She mustered herself to speak, in hope the two would calm down. They were a bit intimidating when they were about to fight. The female stood there, silently regretting that she spoke. The twin chefs were pulled out of their aggressive staring contest, their attention focused on her. The room was quiet, not even the kitchen appliances made a noise. nicknames.īrock stared back (his grin still present), his gaze just as intense as his brother's. Mallow just stared at his brother, tension building up, he never liked it when the younger chef called (Y/N) those. (Y/N) just watched with interest, eyes wide, she then spoke, "Hm-mhmmm. He slid his pack of cards over to his younger brother. Who's winning?"Ī sly grin crept onto Mallow's face, "Bullshit." The female smiled at the two as she leaned on top of the table, "Heya! Playing an intense game of cards I see. Their attention immediately left their game as (Y/N) entered the room. Mallow smirked slightly, he still had cards in his wake. Mallow turned over Brock's card, which revealed to be a King.īrock glowered as he took a very large pile of cards. Mallow placed his card down, smiling slyly, "Three."īrock immediately placed his second last card down, "Four." It was actually a rare moment where the two were enjoying a peaceful time together. Now the two sat across each other, they were on a break (which they rarely had), and were playing a card game called 'Bullshit'. Mallow had confronted his brother about this, but Brock simply brushed it off with a puff of smoke right into his brother's face, and a simple statement, "You write sloppy anyways."īrock had left his boiling brother with a smug smirk. Mallow had attempted to write a poem to (Y/N), but Brock just burned it (upon finding out his brother was writing a poem) throwing the poems ashes into the dustbin. Her (E/C) sparkled with kindness and life, and the twin chefs fell in love the moment they saw her. (Y/N) had (H/L) (H/S) (H/C) hair, and smooth (S/C) skin. She was rather beautiful, not that beautiful in a way that she could be competition to the Lady, but she was still in a way, beautiful. Their rivalry increased when a new female worker arrived at the Maw. Though Mallow and Brock were commonly known as, well, Mallow and Brock, it was not their names given upon birth, not a single inhabitant of the Maw knew what their true names were. When Brock lost a fight, then he would find his usual spot (somewhere outside the food storage) and smoke his anger away. The second chef was the younger brother, more feisty, and quick tempered than his older brother, Mallow, the fellow workers at the Maw called him Brock. He usually prepared a random (and rather tasty) dish when he lost a fight. The older chef was more mature and calm, he was mostly called Mallow. Some siblings in the family tree fight more than others, and in this case it applied to the two chefs working at the Maw, they always fought, even over the smallest things, it was baffling. Sibling rivalry has always been there between siblings, no matter how close they were, they always had a fight about something, one way or the other.
